A country that I would like to visit

I would like to visit Mexico, specifically Chichen Itza, as I am very attracted to the Mayan culture and would love to learn more about it. Besides this, it would be the third wonder of the world that I would visit, so it would be something very symbolic for me.  

I know that this city acted as a very important ceremonial center, so it is considered one of the most valuable and named vestiges of Mayan architecture and culture.

I would like to walk through the streets of the city imagining everything that could have happened thousands of years ago in that same place. I would also like to enjoy the beaches and cenotes in the nearby areas.

The truth is that I would only go on vacation to see the place, since I don't like the country where this ancient city is located because of the lack of security there.
